The 2024 Venice Film Fesitval is set to come to an almighty close tonight, the Spring 2025 season of New York Fashion Week is off to a fine start and the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival is officially a-go.
This year’s splashy TIFF event got into full swing on September 6 and is set to run right through until September 15. The annual Toronto International Film Festival draws a crowd just as big and buzz-worthy Cannes and Venice, with the A-list of the A-list gathering within the Canadian city for a bevy of screenings and show-stopping red carpet appearances.
Twenty-four hours in, and we’re already declaring the 2024 TIFF a one for the books. Jennifer Lopez arrived, taking to the red carpet and making a strong case for revenge dressing, turning up for the Unstoppable movie premiere in a shimmering silver mirror Tamara Ralph dress from Fall 2024 Haute Couture collection. Florence Pugh also selected a look from the same collection, opting for a voluminous pink silk taffeta gown. The Substance co-stars Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley kept things monochromatic. Qualley dressed in head-to-toe Chanel and Moore sporting Thom Browne (and Tiffany & Co. jewelry).
